Blue Yonder Performance Architect

We’re currently working with an established retail company who are looking for an APAC-based Performance Architect to ensure their applications are optimized for reliability, scalability, and performance.

You will design and implement performance strategies, lead testing efforts, and resolve system bottlenecks to deliver high-performing solutions.

This role is a long-term freelancer position on a fully remote basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute performance testing strategies and plans.
• Create and run workload models, load tests, and stress tests.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through analysis and optimization.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Provide technical guidance to improve system performance and mentor team members.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end performance issues and manage test environments.
• Communicate test results, risks, and progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in software development with a focus on performance.
• Experience with tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
• Strong skills in workload modeling, database optimization, and cloud platforms (Azure).
• Hands-on experience with performance testing and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
