About the Role
As a Cloud Engineer specializing in Security and Compliance, you’ll manage security policies, compliance audits, and cloud operations within the Microsoft 365 environment for the defense sector. You’ll work remotely, supporting cloud services in collaboration with the Cloud Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security policies aligned with regulatory standards.
• Oversee DLP policies, conduct compliance audits, and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
• Manage Azure AD conditional access, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity protection.
• Ensure data encryption and implement Azure Information Protection (AIP).
• Support eDiscovery and legal hold processes, including end-user training.
• Use SIEM tools for security monitoring and incident response.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation of compliance tasks.
• Lead user security training and continuous process improvement.

Key Requirements

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 security, ATP, and Azure AD.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with eDiscovery, SIEM tools, and security monitoring.
• NATO Secret security clearance (or national equivalent).

Languages: Proficiency in English; French is a plus.
