Cyber Security Consultant

Our client in the financials sector is currently looking to onboard a Cyber Security Consultant to join their team.

As part of this role you'll be developing security strategies and implementing solutions to protect their information systems. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Assessments: Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Incident Response: Develop and manage incident response plans, and assist clients in responding to security breaches and cyber incidents.
• Security Solutions Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensuring security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST.

Qualifications : 

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc
• Experience: 5+ years working as a Cyber Security Consultant or in similar roles.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM and endpoint protection
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve security issues.
• English speaking (fluent) / Dutch speaking (beneficial)

6-month contract.
Onsite work required in Amsterdam with the team.
