The company works with both local and international clients and contractors.SGI’s supply chains include (the list is not exhaustive) sourcing candidates for clients, which may involve the introduction of candidates to third party companies, and subsequent supply to their customers.<h4>SGI Policies in relation to Slavery and Human Trafficking</h4>As part of the recruitment sector, SGI recognises the responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking, including preventing the same in our corporate activities, and ensuring that SGI’s supply chain is free from slavery and human trafficking.SGI has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.Relevant SGI’s policies are listed below which and are reviewed on a regular basis:&nbsp;<ul class="lg-mx-4"><li>HR Procedures – SGI does not tolerate any threat of physical or sexual violence, harassment or intimidation against our employees. Relevant HR policies are clearly defined and communicated to all employees at the onboarding stage, and then via training sessions. SGI’s suppliers are expected to have relevant ethical, environmental and social policies.In order to ensure that our suppliers comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we include a question on modern slavery and trafficking in the UK Umbrella - Onboarding Questionnaire which is reviewed annually.On top of that, SGI conducts strict compliance checks for all candidates we supply to the clients, including identity, right to work and employment history checks, any additional checks may be carried out from time to time, as required by the Client.As a business we are dedicated to support human rights and sustainability through regular reviews of our internal policies and processes.<h4>Training</h4>Training on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, and on the risk our business faces from modern slavery in its supply chains is provided as necessary.This statement is made on behalf of Source Group International pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 ("The MSA") and comprises our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year 2023.</

The role focuses on the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of database systems, as well as supporting infrastructure. It includes handling tasks across the database lifecycle, from setup and updates to security and monitoring. Knowledge of DevOps tools and processes to manage build, deployment, and automation tasks. Key Responsibilities:<ol><li>Database Management: <ul><li>Install, upgrade, and remove database software.</li><li>Create, upgrade, and remove databases.</li><li>Apply patches and execute parameter changes.</li><li>Manage database security, roles, and privileges.</li><li>Perform database refreshes, cloning, migrations, and troubleshooting.</li></ul></li><li>Infrastructure & Support: <ul><li>Manage database-related software and tools.</li><li>Monitor schema and database performance.</li><li>Detect and resolve blocking locks.</li><li>Execute deployments and address broken database jobs.</li></ul></li><li>DevOps & Automation: <ul><li>Use tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GIT, SVN for CI/CD.</li><li>Manage build and deployment automation with Maven, GO, Ant, or Gradle.</li><li>Handle software configuration management via Puppet or Chef.</li></ul></li><li>System Maintenance: <ul><li>Perform OS-level patching and backups.</li><li>Monitor technology stack performance.</li><li>Maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) information.</li></ul></li></ol>Skills Needed:<ul><li>Strong database management skills (e.g., installations, upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting).</li><li>Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD, automation).</li><li>Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef).</li><li>Knowledge of database security, schema management, and infrastructure monitoring.</li></ul>The ideal candidate should: <ul><li>Have strong technical expertise in managing databases and related infrastructure.</li><li>Be comfortable with DevOps practices and tools for automation and deployment.</li><li>Show proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing the entire database stack.</li><li>Be capable of managing both security roles and performance monitoring.</li><li>Have experience in integrating and maintaining automation and configuration tools.</li></ul> This is a 9 month contract, starting in January 2026, based in Hilversum. Hybrid working has been agreed- 3 days at site per week and 2 days from home. An hourly rate , depending on experience is between 70 -85 Euros per hour.
