DevOps Implementation Engineer ( Oracle BRM )

Job Overview:
My client is  seeking an experienced Oracle BRM Specialist with a strong background in implementing end-to-end billing solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role requires a seasoned professional with in-depth experience in Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) and expertise across a range of technologies to support a comprehensive BSS stack implementation. The ideal candidate will lead discussions on product configuration and customization while working closely with development teams and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead discussions on product configuration, customization, and implementation across the entire BSS stack.
• Oversee and drive end-to-end solution design, configuration, and integration for Oracle BRM (Cloud Native and On-Premises).
• Manage and optimize pricing configurations, including pools, auto top-ups, policy counters, and notifications.
• Develop and customize BRM opcodes, build new APIs, and integrate BRM with northbound systems and other interfaces.
• Provide technical leadership in Oracle BRM, including modules like Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) and Pricing Design Center (PDC), with coding experience in C, Java, UNIX, Perl, Shell, Python, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Collaborate on requirement gathering, solution design, and testing of BRM functionalities, ensuring project alignment with client requirements.
• Build and mentor teams, supporting project delivery through effective leadership and collaboration.
• Design and develop rating structures, subscription management, pools, notifications, and pricing models, with an emphasis on PCRF implementation.
• Implement solutions using both SDLC and Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience:  in billing system implementation, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle BRM.
• Certification: Oracle BRM 7 Advanced Certified Specialist.
• Proven track record in Oracle BRM customization, ECE, and PDC.
• Expertise in C, Java, UNIX, Perl, Shell, Python, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Strong experience in pricing configuration and billing customization.
• Experience with Agile and SDLC project delivery models.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication skills and ability to lead team discussions and client meetings.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

What's on Offer:
This role is an initial 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extension, offering an hourly rate of €80 - €90. The position is based in Rotterdam and offers a hybrid working model, with an on-site requirement of 2 days per week.
The client is seeking a January 2025 start date and will be conducting interviews over the coming weeks.
