Job Title: Murex Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid (London) - 2 days a week oniste
Contract: 6 months | £800 per day (Inside IR35)

A leading Financial Services firm is currently on the search for a Front Office Murex BA.

You will be working on the the implementation of Murex Front to Back cross-asset for the business whilst introducing new workflows and modules

Key Responsibilities:

Murex Configuration & Support:
Configure and maintain Murex for front office functionalities, ensuring system performance and stability. Provide second and third-line support, including incidents outside business hours.
Regulatory Compliance:
Implement regulatory changes and ensure Murex configurations meet compliance standards.
Business Analysis:
Gather and translate business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and provide functional specifications for Murex.
Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute test plans (system, integration, UAT) to meet business needs, identifying and resolving defects.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Provide training and support to end-users.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify process improvements, stay updated on Murex developments, and propose system enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience:

Murex Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Murex front office modules (trade execution, pricing, risk management). Experience with MxML workflows, data mapping, and scripting.
Regulatory Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of regulatory changes impacting front office operations and experience implementing them in Murex.
Performance Optimization:
Ability to optimize Murex for large-scale data processing and real-time trade execution.
Integration & Automation:
Expertise in integrating Murex with other financial systems, and automating processes.
Product Knowledge:
Familiarity with interest rate products, FX derivatives, securities, and commodity products (linear and non-linear).
