Infrastructure Architect - Consultant
Remote first - occasional travel to Ireland
~600 euros per day (Negotiable)
Outside IR35

Looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join a consultancy involved in projects from proposal/tender response through to technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

Architecting, designing, and implementing top-tier solutions for clients, with a focus on datacentre and hybrid-cloud solutions.
Participating in large, complex projects
Coordinating with the operations team on solution deliverables and serving as an escalation point for clarifications.
SME on various vendor solutions, including Modern Storage, HCI, CI, and VMware hybrid cloud solutions.
Providing training and knowledge transfer to clients and operations teams for newly implemented technologies and solutions.
Developing adoption strategies for evaluated new technologies to help the operations team upskill and provide support services.
Delivering pre-sales workshops for new and existing clients, including:
- Evaluating business operational challenges and current state impacts.
- Demonstrating understanding.
- Presenting findings with risks, recommendations, and anticipated benefits.
Committing to continuous professional development in all areas of the role.
Managing multiple client engagements (pre-sales/technical account management/solution architecture/consultancy) simultaneously.

Key Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in architecture/IT consultancy.
Expertise in technical proposal building and tender response.
In-depth knowledge of architectures in areas such as:
- Software Defined Data Centre - Virtualisation
- Storage, Hyper-converged, Converged Infrastructure Solutions
- Backup/Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity

Experience with some or all of the following vendor technologies:
