IT Infrastructure Administrator

As an IT administrator you will be responsible for the technical support and optimization of the IT infrastructure. You will support problems and requirements in the areas of Linux, Windows, networks and WordPress administration.

This is a freelance opportunitiy. 

Role:

• You will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux and Windows servers as well as the associated services (Active Directory and Domain Controller.)
• You will administer networks, including Office VPN and Wi-Fi, and ensure security through firewall management and network configurations.
• You will use and manage Docker and related container technologies.
• You will look after WordPress sites in terms of admin, security / performance

Skills/Experience

• You have several years of experience in IT administration, especially in Linux, Windows, and WordPress.
• You have good knowledge of the administration of Active Directory and domain controllers as well as experience with VPN, Wi-Fi and firewall configurations.
• Experience in managing storage systems
• You speak fluent German 

12 month contract 
On-site work is required near Dusseldorf
