We are looking for an IT product manager with experience in managing software products. The successful candidate will help us drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle. We are looking forward to meeting candidates who have solid experience in product management, excellent technical knowledge in providing support to software applications, and sound understanding of agile and corporate governance processes.
As part of the role you will manage a number of software products in the Corporate Applications portfolio. This involves communicating product vision, developing strategic roadmaps, acting as the main point of contact for internal customers, liaising with internal engineering teams and vendors (when applicable) for backlog planning and delivery, managing license requirements and related budget, and ensuring technical support is provided in a timely and efficient manner.
Day to Day Tasks:
• Defines and communicates product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business objectives
• Creates strategic product roadmaps in alignment with organisational and business goals, IT wide strategy, and engineering capacity
• Serves as the main point of contact for internal customers for products under management, responsible for addressing all product related issues
• Maintains the backlog of changes required to run the product by collaborating closely with business area and IT engineering leads
• Participates in IT quarterly planning sessions to ensure team commitments are aligned with business priorities
• Establishes strong relationships with stakeholders, including but not limited to, internal engineering teams, vendors, internal customers, and partners, to ensure the successful lifecycle of the product
• Organises and run user related working group meetings, where enhancements and new features are prioritised
Must Haves:
• 7+ years of experience previously working as an IT product manager.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and modern product lifecycle management (defining roadmap, stakeholder management, strategic vision, backlog, etc).
• Good generic technical knowledge of software applications and their underlying infrastructure like servers and databases (SQL)
This role is suitable only for candidates who are based in Switzerland or are able to relocate full time.
