for our customer, a major banking organisation in Basel, we are seeing a Senior Kubernetes Engineer

- Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in an OpenShift environment using GitOps practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for container orchestration, scaling, and management.
- Support development teams in their use of container technology.
- Utilise shell scripting, Python, or Golang for automation and management tasks.
Must-Haves (requirements in bold are mandatory):- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms.
- Fluency with code management solutions, particularly GIT and CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, and/or Golang, to assist in the maintenance and development of tools that manage a Kubernetes platform.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration experience.
- Proven track record in providing third-level support and design input in an enterprise environment.
- Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- At least five years of relevant work experience.
