The company works with both local and international clients and contractors.SGI’s supply chains include (the list is not exhaustive) sourcing candidates for clients, which may involve the introduction of candidates to third party companies, and subsequent supply to their customers.<h4>SGI Policies in relation to Slavery and Human Trafficking</h4>As part of the recruitment sector, SGI recognises the responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking, including preventing the same in our corporate activities, and ensuring that SGI’s supply chain is free from slavery and human trafficking.SGI has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.Relevant SGI’s policies are listed below which and are reviewed on a regular basis:&nbsp;<ul class="lg-mx-4"><li>HR Procedures – SGI does not tolerate any threat of physical or sexual violence, harassment or intimidation against our employees. Relevant HR policies are clearly defined and communicated to all employees at the onboarding stage, and then via training sessions. SGI’s suppliers are expected to have relevant ethical, environmental and social policies.In order to ensure that our suppliers comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we include a question on modern slavery and trafficking in the UK Umbrella - Onboarding Questionnaire which is reviewed annually.On top of that, SGI conducts strict compliance checks for all candidates we supply to the clients, including identity, right to work and employment history checks, any additional checks may be carried out from time to time, as required by the Client.As a business we are dedicated to support human rights and sustainability through regular reviews of our internal policies and processes.<h4>Training</h4>Training on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, and on the risk our business faces from modern slavery in its supply chains is provided as necessary.This statement is made on behalf of Source Group International pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 ("The MSA") and comprises our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year 2023.</

Job Opportunity: Principal Technician (Network Technical Management) Location: Bydgoszcz, Poland Start Date: 6 January 2025 Contract: 1672 hours About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Principal Technician in Network Technical Management to join our team in the defense sector. This role involves managing and maintaining essential ICT networking platforms to ensure the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Plan and manage resources to meet quality standards.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a systematic way.</li><li>Maintain current knowledge of networking technologies and trends.</li><li>Install, operate, and document network platforms (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).</li><li>Support IT Service Continuity, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery plans.</li><li>Monitor network capacity and performance, providing regular reports.</li><li>Collaborate with internal units and external technical teams.</li><li>Assist with and execute assigned project tasks.</li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>Higher vocational training in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience, or secondary education with 5+ years of experience.</li><li>Proficiency in LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi technology.</li><li>Strong knowledge of network management tools and diagnostic skills.</li><li>Expertise in Layer-2 (Ethernet, VLAN) and Layer-3 (IP, OSPF, MPLS) networks.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Cisco, HP, and Juniper equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, QoS, SNMP, VPN, VRRP, and cabling standards.</li><li>Experience in wireless network design and implementation.</li><li>Certifications: CCNA, ITIL Foundation.</li><li>Additional experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Exchange, VMware.</li></ul>Apply by: 19th November 2024 Note: Nato Secret!
