Security Engineer

Source Technology is working with a software company just outside of Overijssel to hire a Security Engineer into their security operations team.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions using Microsoft Defender.

This is a freelance role and requires 2-3 days on-site weekly. Interviews to take place next week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the deployment of Microsoft Defender
- Security assessments and develop the policies and procedures.
- Mentoring junior consultants and liaise with stakeholders
- Troubleshoot security issues

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in the Cyber Security space
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Servers and related Microsoft security products.
- Experience with cloud security and Azure services is highly desirable.
- Networking experience, VMWare is beneficial
