Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)

We’re currently working with an established energy business who are revolutionising the energy space. We’re Currently looking for an innovative technical expert to become part of the Cloud Engineering & CCoE team. This role is focused around the optimisation of their cloud infrastructure.

This role is for an initial 6-month contract with a scope for further extensions, travel is required to Essen for 1-2 days per week.

Role and responsibilities:

• Monitoring and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability and performance
• Development and implementation of AI-driven monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve potential problems
• Ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements for surveillance solutions
• Continuous evaluation and improvement of the security situation of the implemented solutions
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet organizational goals
• Monitoring the latest trends and developments in cloud technology
• Evaluating and recommending new cloud services and tools to improve the organization's capabilities
• Working within an agile DevOps structure
• Bonus: German speaker and energy industry experience
