About the Role:
Our client, a global leader in the logistics and transportation sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a mission-critical environment, ensuring the seamless operation of a globally available datacenter network. The role requires expertise in network resiliency, security, and troubleshooting within a high-performance infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a globally available datacenter network environment with zero downtime.
• Lead and execute projects to enhance network resiliency and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in production environments with minimal downtime.
• Design and implement telecommunications solutions for new and existing systems.
• Build and maintain a test/lab environment mirroring production networks.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to diagnose and resolve issues with servers, firewalls, application firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering (LAN/WLAN/WAN).
• Extensive knowledge of network protocols, routing protocols, and L2/L3 technologies.
• Strong expertise with Cisco infrastructure, including Cisco ACI and DNAC environments.
• Experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP).
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows servers in a network environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Cisco CCIE/CCSE certification.
• Advanced knowledge of network and application security.
• In-depth expertise with Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewall technologies.
