Site Reliability Engineer

For our customer within the financial services sector in Prague, we are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a 6 month contract

Your main responsibilities and objectives will be:
• Support Business IT Applications both on-premise (VMware, hybrid) and in the Cloud to provide a stable environment for the Business Users to agreed Service Level Agreements
• Follow Best Practice processes for incidents, problems, change and configuration management to ensure an efficient support service.
• Implement patching and maintenance of Business Applications according to defined processes.
Lead the successful transition of new Business Applications to the SRE Team ensuring they are fully documented.
• Lead implementation, process and document reviews to continuously improve the efficiency of the Team, as well as knowledge sharing activities within the Team.
• Configure and improve Gitlab CICD pipelines • Implement and improve monitoring of various applications using Terraform code


Your profile/background:
• 4+ years of experience in cloud technical roles • Hands on experience with 2nd or 3rd level support of Business Critical Applications
• Excellent knowledge of AWS Cloud, Gitlab, Terraform and Datadog (or other monitoring tools)
• Good SQL knowledge • Experience in Linux, Windows and DB systems is preferrelytical,
d • Experience with IT infrastructure (hardware, network and storage) is preferred • Experience with Atlasian products is advantage
