Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, foster collaboration, and support career development through goal setting and coaching.
- Agile Practices: Champion Agile methodologies, facilitate ceremonies, and instill an Agile mindset across teams for efficient delivery.
- Resource Management: Optimize team capacity, align resources with business priorities, and enhance productivity using data-driven insights.
- Technical Oversight: Collaborate on technical roadmaps, uphold best practices, design scalable architectures, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Project Delivery: Ensure on-time delivery of quality solutions, address risks proactively, and drive process improvements.
- Degree or equivalent hands-on experience in computer science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including distributed systems.
- 2+ years managing and growing teams to build complex software systems.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, test-driven development, and high-availability platforms.
- Experience with tools like Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Desirable: Full-stack experience (e.g., Java, C#, React, Angular, Azure, AWS) and mobile app development (Kotlin, Swift).
- Up to £110,000
- Hybrid working 2 days a week in Holborn but moving to Euston soon.
