System Architect Consultant (Medical Devices)
 
I am seeking an experienced Systems Architect Consultant, focusing on the development of next-generation ultrasound-based medical devices. You will play a key role in designing system architecture, leading hardware and electronics development, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document system architecture (hardware, electronics, firmware integration).
• Lead development and verification of medical devices, ensuring FDA compliance.
• Manage strategic development projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
• Engage with external suppliers to drive project success.

 
Requirements:

• MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microtechnology
• 5+ years of experience in medical electronics design and FDA-cleared device development.
• 3+ years as a medical system architect, with expertise in ultrasound electronics, FPGAs, low-power electronics, and PCBA miniaturization.
• Proven project management experience and ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
