Position: Tax Claims Specialist

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Tax Claims Specialist to join one of our clients. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our clients benefit from efficient tax claim processes, allowing them to maximize their returns. You will be responsible for repapering client documentation, managing onboarding processes, and overseeing tax-related activities with a keen focus on accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the repapering process for clients with a Tax Claims mandate, ensuring RaS client documentation is accurately updated for custodians and that onboarding and Power of Attorney requirements are met for reclaim clients.
• Manage the setup of client data within systems, including manual workload processing.
• Leverage your expertise in tax and client onboarding processes to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
• Prepare, process, and maintain documentation related to all stages of the accounting cycle, culminating in the timely filing of tax returns.
• Validate the accuracy of tax-related records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Stay informed about the latest updates in tax codes and accounting regulations.
• Conduct in-depth research on local and national tax compliance matters to support optimal decision-making.

Skills and Experience:

• In-depth knowledge of Tax Reclaim and Relief at Source processes.
• Strong understanding of client structures, including both Natural Persons and Legal Entities.
• Proven experience in handling administrative tasks and processing data, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage complex workflows.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders across the organisation.
