Our client is immediately looking for a Technical ISO. Information security is in full development within the organization. In addition to the entire office automation, various SCADA and IoT systems also need to be set up and managed securely. With all developments, including the digital transformation that is taking place in society, changing laws and regulations in the field of information security and the new requirements that all this entails, they face new challenges.

As a Technical ISO, you focus on the information that is processed within the ICT facilities and infrastructure. Based on the municipal information security policy, you ensure a coherent package of measures to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.

You work closely with, among others, the Information Security Officer (ISO) who focuses on people and the organization. In addition, you work closely with privacy officers, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Tasks
> Advising on information security for projects that are carried out in the organization in the field of information provision and ICT. Think of the introduction of a (re)new(ed) system or technology such as the use of algorithms;
> Identifying potential security risks in our services, systems and processes and anticipating vulnerabilities and incidents. You remain involved in important topics and monitor the process surrounding the collection of information for risk analyses, data classifications and audits;
> Drawing up processes and procedures in the field of information security;
> Registering and handling security incidents;
> Reporting and advising the IV and ICT team managers and the CISO on the status of information security, incidents and ICT developments within the organisation.

Requirements
> Completed education at least at HBO bachelor level (Pré is completed Ethical Hacking, IT security, information Security Technology, Security Engineer, Cybersecurity, Security Management or Cloud Security);
> At least 5 years of experience as (T)ISO;
> Knowledge of the Baseline Information Security Government (BIO), ISO 27001/2 and NIS2 (Network and Information Security Directive);
> Experience in the field of information security, focused on office automation and/or operational technology within a management role towards internal and external suppliers.
