Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced MCU architect to join a growing team of 20 as soon as possible. Based in the Middle Rhine region of Germany, this permanent position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the autonomous vehicle space. As part of the team, you will have the chance to contribute to high-impact software architecture and integration initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead software architecture and integration for autonomous vehicle projects.
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with ASPICE.
  • Utilize design patterns to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain embedded C++ systems for vehicle platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and drive system improvements, supporting innovation in vehicle autonomy.
  • Apply methods to analyse the software architecture for functional safety (e.g., SW event tree analysis) and cybersecurity.
  • Work with the SW execution PM to define work packages and assign them to deliveries.

Ideal Skills:
  • Proven experience in software architecture and integration.
  • Expertise in automotive spice (ASPICE).
  • Strong knowledge of architecture and design patterns (layering, pipes, error handling, structure).
  • Experience in code-based automation.
  • Proficiency in C++ for embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with functional safety analysis methods (e.g., SW event tree analysis) and cybersecurity principles.
